Tuition fee adjusted to the student's family unit financial situation
University tuition fees consist of two parts:
- Regional Tax for the Right to study (plus the €16,00 stamp duty);
- All-inclusive fee.
Both these 2 part are calculated based on the financial situation of your family unit, through the ISEE for the study purposes (for students with a family unit residing in Italy) or the equivalent ISEE (for students with a family unit residing abroad).
Regional Tax for the Right to study
Starting from the academic year 2026–27, the amount of the regional tax is divided into the three income brackets shown in the table:
| Regional tax amount | ISEE value |
|---|---|
| €130,00 | ≤ €28.339,88 |
| €160,00 | >€28.339,88 ≤ €56.679,76 |
| €190,00 | >€56.679,76 - no ISEE |
| PLEASE NOTE: The regional tax and €16 duty stamp is not included in the “All-inclusive fee” calculation. |
All-inclusive fee
The all-inclusive fee is calculated based on the following factors:
- the financial situation of your family unit (ISEE for the right to study or equivalent ISEE);
- the degree program in which you are enrolled;
- the number of years of enrollment compared to the standard duration of the program.
| PLEASE NOTE: Starting from the 2026–27 academic year, the University of Pavia will provide a full exemption from payment of the all-inclusive tuition fee for students with an ISEE up to €32.000,00. |
