National and international networks
The University of Pavia actively participates in the most prestigious National and International Networks formed together with other Universities, companies, and Research Centers.
Since 2012, the University of Pavia has been a member of Netval, the Network for the Valorization of University Research, which aims to promote and standardize the University's actions in patenting, spin-off company formation, and technology transfer. Since 2015, the University hosts the operational headquarters of Netval in the Rectorate buildings, Corso Strada Nuova, 65, Pavia (+39 0382.984895).
Together with the most important European Universities, it belongs to the Coimbra Group, which has the mission of promoting international academic collaboration and excellence in research and learning, drawing inspiration from the use of institutional best practices, and the mission of making the relationship between academia and society efficient and beneficial by influencing European policies on Research and Education.
The University is also part of the European University Association, which plays a crucial role in the Bologna process and in influencing European Union policies on higher education, research, and innovation.
Furthermore, the University is part of consortia funded by Joint Technology Initiatives such as the ECSEL Joint Undertaking, consortia for European Joint Programming such as CONCERT, and the ambitious and important European research network of the Human Brain Project.
