Who can apply
Students interested in admission to a year beyond the first year of a degree program at the University of Pavia may request a preliminary evaluation of their previous academic career according to the procedures outlined on this page.
When to apply
- Bachelor's/Master's Single-Cycle degree programs with free access: July 1 - October 2, 2025
- Master's degree programs with free access: May 15 - October 31, 2025
Exceptions:
LM in World Politics and International Relations: by October 2, 2025 - Bachelor's/Master's Single-Cycle/Master's degree programs with free access (for students enrolled or graduated from a foreign university): January 10 - June 6, 2024
September 1 - 11, 2024 (only for EU citizens or non-EU citizens residing in Italy) (dates subject to update for A.Y. 2025/2026) - Degree programs with programmed access: deadlines and available spots indicated in the competition announcements
Students interested in admission to a year beyond the first year of a degree program at the University of Pavia can request an evaluation of their previous academic record according to the following requirements:
- Not already being enrolled in the degree program for which they are requesting a preliminary evaluation (unless otherwise specified in the competition announcements)
- Students already enrolled in the degree program of interest can request "exam validation" by downloading the request form from the University’s forms page and submitting it via Filodiretto (Student Services - Career Management). In this case, students will receive a resolution of exam validation but will remain enrolled in the first year of the program.
- Possessing one or more of the following qualifications:
- A degree already obtained from an Italian university
- An incomplete previous university career at an Italian university (career closed due to withdrawal, transfer from another university, course change)
- A degree already obtained from a foreign university
- An incomplete previous university career at a foreign university
