Vocational programs and Advanced courses

The Vocational Programs are scientific specialization and higher education one/two-year courses, which release academic degrees, to be taken after graduation from a Bachelor’s or Master’s.

They are the academic response to the market demand of new specialized professional figures.

Held by university professors and high-profile external experts, these programmes offer networking and job opportunities such as internships in companies, institutions, national and international organizations.

Attendance to the Vocational Programs is incompatible with simultaneous enrollment in BA’s, Ma’s, PhD’s and teaching qualification courses requiring compulsory attendance (exception: when labs and stages are the only activities requiring attendance).

Advanced courses are training courses promoted by the University of Pavia in order to meet the needs for further education and update in several professional sectors and business areas. The courses include lectures and training: participation in training activities is compulsory for at least 75% of the program.

Maximum duration of the courses is one year and participants can obtain a certificate of attendance as well as acquire formative credits.

The attendance of the courses is compatible with the enrollment in bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, specialization, teaching qualification courses as well as research grants.

The courses are only available in Italian.
