HORIZON EUROPE

Horizon Europe is the European Union's framework program for research and innovation for the period 2021-2027. It has an overall financial allocation of €95.5 billion, including €5.4 billion earmarked for the Next Generation EU recovery plan. It is the world's largest funding program for research and innovation. The program is structured around three "pillars," further divided into specific programs and themes (Excellent Science, Global Challenges and European Competitiveness, Innovative Europe), and a cross-cutting program (Widening Participation and Strengthening The European Research Area), in addition to the EURATOM program.

All information regarding funding and procedures for project submissions is available on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.

Researchers can find further useful information for project submissions on the "Project Presentation and Management - Horizon Europe" page and on the website of the Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE).
