Quality assurance

The University has promoted the progressive adoption of a Quality Assurance (QA) System, consistent with the AVA guidelines (Self-assessment, Periodic evaluation, Accreditation) adopted by the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System (ANVUR) and with the Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area – ESG.

The QA System aims to encourage active and conscious participation of all members of the university community in achieving improvement objectives, clearly defined, communicated, and shared. It also aims to disseminate a culture of quality, raising awareness at all levels and roles within the University regarding QA procedures.

The implementation of the System should have documentable and usually measurable effects on the improvement of educational, research, and third mission activities, as well as administrative and managerial activities.

A crucial coordinating role in this area is exercised by the University Quality Office, established and organized to ensure the maximum representativeness of the various disciplinary areas of the University.
