Giornate 2025 del CUIA in Italia

The University of Pavia and the Italian Interuniversity Consortium for Argentina (CUIA) had the pleasure of organizing the Giornate 2025 del CUIA in Italia, held in Pavia (Italy) from November 27 to 29, 2025.

The activities began on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Aula Scarpa at the University of Pavia’s main campus.

The day on Friday, November 28 took place in the Aula Foscolo, also located at the University’s main campus, and was dedicated to the presentation of the activities and results of the four CUIA Higher Schools, namely: Law; Political, Economic and Social Sciences (DISPES); Biosciences and Biotechnologies (BIOS); Cultural Heritage (PACU); Science and Technology (TECS).

Among the activities scheduled for the day was the presentation of the book “La scienza? Un gioco da ragazze!", curated by Professor Ilaria Canobbio of the Department of Biology and Biotechnologies L. Spallanzani of the University of Pavia.

The program concluded on the morning of Saturday, November 29, with a guided visit to the Botanical Garden of Pavia.

Organization and Practical Information

How to reach the University of Pavia Main Campus from Pavia Railway Station

From Pavia Railway Station, you can reach Corso Strada Nuova, 65 (University of Pavia Main Campus) by:

Walking (1.1 km – approximately 16 minutes);
Bus 3C – every 30 minutes – get off at the “Roma/XX Settembre” stop and then walk 2 minutes (170 m);
Bus 3 (direction Q.re MONTEBOLONE) or Bus 7 (direction Q.re VALLONE Pastrengo) – every 5 minutes – get off at the “Matteotti/Petrarca” stop and then walk 5 minutes (300 m).
