An individual university email address with domain name.surname XX @universitadipavia.it will be assigned to successfully enrolled students. All notifications, news, communication from the University, departments and professors will be emailed to this account. Do remember to activate it after the enrollment and check it regularly.

Using the Student Portal students can access the following services:
● view and update their address and contact information
● check the status of payments made or to be made
● view and print self-certification forms
● view and fill out study plans
● view their course of studies and list of examinations passed or to be taken
● check available exam dates
● reserve examination dates
● check announcements regarding opportunities to study or perform internships abroad
To access the Portal, students must enter their fiscal code and password.

Unipv campus is an Eduroam Institution. Eduroam is a service offering safe wireless access to the user network of the international scientific community. Users of the University of Pavia have to insert their credentials as:
Username: YOUR FISCAL CODE@unipv.it
Password: the same password for Student Portal
Users from other participating institutions shall connect to EduRoam net of the University of Pavia using the account supplied from their home institution.
KIRO is the e-learning platform of the University of Pavia, accessible to both teachers and students. On that website it is possible to find lesson recordings, resources, in-depth exercises, sample tests and many other activities to support teaching.

The University of Pavia has activated the “Unipv per te” service as part of the students’ benefits.
It is a digital platform containing various discounts, online coupons or cashbacks. In the latter case, the accumulated credit can be even used for new purchases or paid into a personal current account.
To access the portal, simply register here by entering the email issued by the University at the time of registration (no other domains are accepted).

The Ateneo Card is the identification card of University of Pavia students and is issued by Banca Popolare di Sondrio.
The card can be activated -without any costs- as a prepaid rechargeable credit card and will be used by the University to credit any refunds, scholarships and sums due for student collaborations. It can also be used in stores in contactless mode and for internet purchases.
How to collect your Ateneo Card
- Students enrolling in the first year of the course for the academic year 2023/24 - residing abroad: the card must be collected, after receiving notification from the Welcome Office, at the Welcome Office counter during opening hours: Tuesday from 09.00 to 12.00, Thursday from 14.00 to 16.00.
- Students enrolling in the first year of the course for the academic year 2023/24 - residing in Italy: the card will be automatically produced and sent to the address declared during registration.
- Students enrolled in subsequent years and postgraduate students who do not possess the University card +: the card must be requested by completing the appropriate questionnaire (menu item Questionnaires > General Questionnaires) available in your Reserved Area. Subsequently, Banca Popolare di Sondrio will send an email with instructions to schedule an appointment for collection.
How to activate your Ateneo Card
In order to activate it as a credit card, you will need to book an appointment at the bank by sending an email to pavia.succursale@popso.it
Documents to be handed in:
- Passport or valid ID
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) of your abroad residence
- Address of your abroad residence
- Residence Permit (Non-EU only) If you do not still hold it: Receipt of the Residence Permit + Self-certification of enrolment at the University, to be downloaded from the Student Portal
- Italian Tax Code issued by Italian embassy/consulate or Agenzia delle entrate
- Address in Italy
- Italian mobile phone number
- University ID number (“matricola”)
- Ateneo Card number
Before being able to make any transaction, it is necessary to make an initial deposit on your bank account. The procedures to open the bank account and transfer the funds will take up to 15 days, so make sure you have enough money on arrival.
Ateneo+ Card, if activated, allows you to:
- receive transfers from the University of Pavia such as tax refunds, scholarships, Erasmus, etc …;
- pay university fees;
- send wire transfers in Italy and in the European countries of the SEPA area;
- activate the domiciliation of users (PayTV, telephone operators, ADSL, etc …);
- purchase goods and services in affiliated businesses that display the Mastercard logo in Italy and abroad, including online;
- withdraw from all ATMs (in Italy and abroad).
We point out that the card also allows payments to the University of Pavia without any increase in expenses and commissions, also through the new pagoPA system.

Campus Aquae Buildings, via cascinazza

- access to the San Tommaso Library
- access to the bathrooms in the central University
- access to some restricted areas of the University with controlled access gates.
How to collect your Smart Card:
- Students enrolled in the first year in the A.Y. 2022/23 – residing abroad:
After receiving an email notifying that the card is available, collect your card at the Welcome Office in Via Sant’Agostino during the opening hours:
Tuesday: 09.00 – 12.00
Thursday: 14.00 – 16.00
- Students enrolled in the first year in the A.Y. 2022/23 – residing in Italy:
From December, the UNIPV SmartCard will be sent to the address used during the enrollment registration.
- Students enrolled in subsequent years:
Book an appointment here at the ‘Ritiro carte ateneo’ desk, specifying that you wish to collect the UNIPV SmartCard.
In case of problems or non-receipt, write to tessere@unipv.it.
In case of loss, it is possible to request a duplicate of the UNIPV SmartCard by writing an email to tessere@unipv.it indicating your personal data and tax code.
The Student Secretariat will notify you via email of the availability indicating the withdrawal methods.
On the other hand, Exchange students will be directly provided with it by the International Mobility Office.
Centro Orientamento Universitario (COR) supports current students through different types of activities: strategic support projects with peer tutors, specific courses for the newly enrolled, exercises targeting exam preparation and workshops aimed at enhancing and developing study methods.
The service intends to promote the acquisition of skills, strategies and abilities necessary to achieve educational goals in a general climate of individual and academic well-being.
The guidance center creates and/or promotes courses dedicated to students with specific needs or fragilities. The service comprises different courses that vary according to the student’s needs.

SUPPORT FOR THE STUDY METHOD (3ESSE – wellness project)
These are meetings and workshops with an expert useful for experimenting with effective study strategies, organizing study time, scheduling exams effectively, addressing or finding a listening space for problems that could create difficulties in daily life at the University.

"VOGLIO STARE IN UNIPV" PROJECT
"Voglio stare in Unipv" ("I want to stay in Unipv”) is a project aimed at students late in their exams who, through direct contact with their referring teacher, will be able to make the most of the opportunities that the University of Pavia offers (counselling, workshops, meetings with an au pair tutor) to overcome any career obstacles, take exams, live the university period to the fullest.

EXAMINATION TEXTS SIMULATION LABORATORIES
In the period preceding the exam sessions, freshmen can participate in test simulations with the guidance of students who are experts in the subject. These exercises help to gain awareness about their preparation, will facilitate engagement with more experienced au pair tutors, and will ease the acquirement of skills related to the management of emotions that could compromise the result of the exam.

Do you need a tutor?
The tutor is a student at the University of Pavia who provides information, advice, and support to students of each department throughout their academic journey.
A tutor can help you solve any organizational and didactic difficulties. For example, regarding study plans, exam prerequisites, relationships with academic bodies, and university services.
