International Staff Week UNIPV 2026
Opening Doors: International Student Admissions and Digital Mobility
The University of Pavia is pleased to announce the fourth edition of the UniPV International Staff Week, organised as a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), which will take place from 22 to 26 June 2026.
Under the title Opening Doors: International Student Admissions and Digital Mobility, this Staff Week will focus on two key and closely interconnected areas of internationalisation in higher education:
Track 1 – Digital Mobility and the Digitalisation of Processes
This track will explore how digital tools and practices are reshaping international mobility, with particular attention to:
- the digitalisation of mobility management processes,
- virtual and blended mobility formats, including the European Alliances,
- the role of digital solutions in improving efficiency, transparency, and the overall experience for both staff and students.
Participants will be invited to share tools, workflows, challenges, and good practices related to digital mobility and international cooperation.
Track 2 – International Student Admissions
The increasing number of students seeking international study opportunities calls for more structured, transparent, and student-centred admission procedures. This track will focus on:
- international student admission processes,
- coordination among stakeholders (admission offices, academic staff, student services and more),
- challenges and solutions in managing growing and increasingly diverse applications.
Starting from the University of Pavia’s own admission framework, the sessions will provide space for comparison, peer learning, and constructive feedback among participants.
Objectives of the Staff Week
The main aim of the UniPV International Staff Week is to create a space for exchange, discussion, and mutual learningamong colleagues working in international relations, mobility, digitalisation, and admissions, coming from both Programme and Partner Countries.
Beyond the professional dimension, the Staff Week also represents an opportunity to strengthen institutional relations, foster new collaborations, and enjoy networking moments in the historic setting of Pavia, sharing Italian culture, history, and food.
Programme Structure
The programme will include:
- interactive workshops,
- thematic sessions for each track,
- networking activities and moments for informal exchange,
- opportunities to share best practices and institutional experiences.
As a Blended Intensive Programme, the Staff Week will include:
- Virtual component: an online meeting on the 5th of June at 10am CET;
- Intensive physical mobility in Pavia from 22 to 26 June.
